Tottenham are once again being linked with a move for Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo ahead of the January transfer window.
Spurs failed to land Semenyo during the summer, and the 25-year-old has since been in outstanding Premier League form.

Across 11 league matches, the Ghanaian attacker has registered six goals and three assists, playing a major role in Andoni Iraola’s side climbing to second place last month before slipping back after consecutive defeats to Manchester City and Aston Villa.
Thomas Frank is eager to strengthen Tottenham’s attack when the window opens on January 1, with Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye among the names recently linked. Semenyo has also resurfaced on Spurs’ shortlist, despite his recent commitment to Bournemouth.
Antoine Semenyo’s contract proves a hurdle
Tottenham’s summer pursuit of Semenyo ended abruptly when the ex-Bristol City man signed a new five-year deal that keeps him at the Vitality Stadium until 2030.
Despite this extension, Sky Sports reports that Spurs have renewed their interest in the Bournemouth star, who is also attracting attention from Liverpool and Manchester City. Reporters Lyall Thomas and Mark McAdam claim that Semenyo’s form has ensured several clubs remain keen, with bids expected when the window opens.
Spurs are believed to be targeting a left-sided attacker for January. Although Semenyo can play on the left, he has also impressed on the right and through the middle for Bournemouth.
What Thomas Frank has said about Semenyo
Frank has not hidden his admiration for Semenyo. While managing Brentford last year, he labelled the forward a “fantastic player” capable of playing “wherever he wants.”
After Bournemouth’s 1-0 win over Tottenham in August—decided by an early Evanilson strike—Frank defended Semenyo following a challenge that could have earned him a second yellow card. Frank said he would have been “disappointed” to see one of his own players sent off for a similar incident.
