Liverpool could make a fresh bid as they compete with City and Tottenham for a top-tier signin
A new bid for Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo could be on the cards this January, according to Sky Sports. Liverpool, Manchester City, and Tottenham are all reportedly monitoring the Ghana international following his standout performances in the Premier League.
Manchester United were also reportedly interested in Semenyo over the summer before he signed a new contract with Bournemouth. Sources suggest the Red Devils remain keen, meaning the 25-year-old could have multiple top-club options in the transfer window.
Why top clubs are interested in Semenyo
Semenyo’s Premier League form speaks for itself. With six goals and three assists so far this season, only Manchester City’s Erling Haaland surpasses him in goal contributions. The versatile attacker can score, create, take on defenders, and shoot with either foot—qualities that make him an attractive target, particularly for Liverpool, who are struggling in attack.
The Reds’ summer signings, Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz, have yet to make a significant impact, while Mohamed Salah’s form has dipped. Semenyo could provide the boost Liverpool need.
Bournemouth’s willingness to sell
