Tottenham supporters are full of praise for Jamie Donley after reviewing the latest footage.

Jamie Donley netted the decisive goal for Northern Ireland in a 1–0 win over Luxembourg, bringing their World Cup qualifying campaign to a positive close.
With some Tottenham fans already billing Donley as a potential heir to Harry Kane, many were thrilled to see the young attacking midfielder make an impact on the international stage.
Currently on loan at Stoke City, Donley coolly tucked away a penalty to secure all three points for the Green and White Army, who now shift their focus to the World Cup play-offs in March 2026.
Given Spurs’ search for a new striker ahead of the January window, supporters will have taken note of the 20-year-old’s strong performance up front under Michael O’Neill on 17 November.
The Potters’ No. 14 showed great composure from the spot in a cagey clash at Windsor Park. He had earlier thought he’d scored in the 18th minute before VAR ruled it out, but made no mistake with the penalty. Donley also completed one key pass and won four of his five ground battles, underlining his effort and versatility in his 67-minute outing.
Spurs fans flocked to X to celebrate his first senior international goal, with one posting: “Jamie Donley scoring on the international stage. Proud of you J,” while another added: “Donley seems to offer a notable increase in quality.”
