Antoine Semenyo has already hinted at how he truly feels about a potential move to Tottenham as transfer interest grows.

Tottenham Hotspur are again being linked with Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo ahead of the January transfer window. The Ghana international, who has a good relationship with potential future teammate Mohammed Kudus, is reportedly attracting strong interest.

Spurs first targeted Semenyo in the summer, alongside Manchester United and Liverpool. Bournemouth were said to value him at around £70m at the time. The 25-year-old instead signed a new deal running until 2030 and has made an impressive start to the season, producing nine goal contributions in 11 Premier League matches.

Semenyo and Kudus know each other well from international duty, having played together in 25 of Semenyo’s 32 Ghana appearances. Their close bond was evident during the September break when Semenyo jokingly teased Kudus about Tottenham’s 1–0 home defeat to Bournemouth, a moment captured in a social media video.

According to The Athletic, Semenyo’s new contract includes a £65m release clause that must be activated by a certain date to allow Bournemouth to find a replacement. The clause will remain in place for future windows. After several major player departures in the summer, another sale could be on the horizon, though Semenyo insists that speculation won’t distract him.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he said he tries to stay focused on his football despite transfer rumours. He added that he is happy at Bournemouth, feels the team has strong momentum under their manager, and is pleased he committed his future to the club.
