Arsenal and Tottenham meet at the Emirates this afternoon for the first north London derby of the season. Arsenal enter the match top of the Premier League after the final international break of 2025, with Spurs eight points behind.

Arsenal suffered more injury concerns during the break, with several key players uncertain ahead of kick-off. Gabriel Magalhães limped off during Brazil’s friendly against Senegal and has since been ruled out for at least a month with a thigh muscle injury. His absence is a major setback, and Cristhian Mosquera is expected to step in, with Piero Hincapié another option.

Arsenal were also monitoring the fitness of Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber. Calafiori missed Italy’s matches and had not returned to training by Friday. Martin Ødegaard, Noni Madueke, Gabriel Martinelli and Viktor Gyökeres were considered possible returnees, though Mikel Arteta offered no updates.

Gyökeres has been sidelined since early November after coming off against Burnley, with no further news on his condition.
