Klopp concedes he may be willing to return to the Premier League in the future

Nearly a year on, talk of a possible comeback has intensified after Klopp discussed the idea on the Diary of a CEO podcast.

Responding to a question about returning to Premier League management, Klopp stood by his long-held stance, as reported by The Mirror:

“I always said I wouldn’t manage another team in England. So if I ever came back, it would have to be Liverpool. Yeah, in theory, it’s possible.”

The comment has reignited hopes that the legendary manager could one day return to Anfield.

However, he also made it clear that he is currently enjoying life outside the relentless intensity of frontline coaching.

“I love what I do now. I don’t miss coaching. I still coach, but in a different way — not with players. I don’t miss standing in the rain for hours or doing press conferences three times a week,” Klopp said.

While his remarks suggest a short-term return is unlikely, he notably refused to shut the door completely.

For now, Klopp seems content shaping the game from behind the scenes — but, as he admitted, the possibility of a future reunion with Liverpool remains “theoretically” open.
