Fans left stunned by Jurgen Klopp’s post just hours after Liverpool’s loss.

Fans have been buzzing online after noticing what Jurgen Klopp shared only hours after Liverpool’s defeat to PSV Eindhoven.
Liverpool’s struggles continued at Anfield on Wednesday night, suffering a heavy 4–1 loss to the Dutch side in the Champions League. Ivan Perisic, Guus Til and a brace from Couhaib Driouech sealed a memorable win for Peter Bosz’s men, with Dominik Szoboszlai grabbing Liverpool’s only goal.
The latest setback has intensified the scrutiny on Arne Slot, with names such as Xabi Alonso, Andoni Iraola and Oliver Glasner regularly mentioned as possible successors. Even Klopp himself has been rumoured for a sensational return.
But shortly after the PSV defeat, supporters were taken aback by Klopp’s newest social media upload. The former Liverpool manager posted a light-hearted Instagram video blind-ranking classic Thanksgiving dishes.
“Happy Thanksgiving!” he wrote. “It’s a good chance to start preparing for next year’s World Cup, and that begins with the most important topic requiring my pundit opinion: FOOD. Looking forward to seeing which stadium has the best hot dogs.”
Fans quickly reacted online. One joked: “Klopp is the bookmakers’ favourite to return as Liverpool manager and he’s busy ranking hot dogs.” Another wrote: “Liverpool are in turmoil and Klopp is talking about clam chowder.” A third added: “He’s so bored he’s doing food rankings—just give him the job already.”
Despite the speculation, reports suggest Slot still has the club’s backing as they look to steady the ship. Liverpool will aim to respond when they face West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
