Liverpool’s emergency meeting has concluded with Arne Slot handed a “last warning” and a two-game ultimatum

Liverpool boss Arne Slot has reportedly held his emergency talks with the club’s hierarchy — and has now been issued a final warning regarding his future.

According to an update shared on X, the Reds expect an immediate turnaround, setting a clear target of taking all six points from their next two Premier League fixtures.

Earlier reports suggested tension behind the scenes, with Slot and sporting director Richard Hughes clashing after Hughes blocked the manager’s plans to sell Luis Díaz to Bayern Munich in the summer.

The message now seems unmistakably direct: results must improve fast, or Liverpool are ready to act.

Just months ago, the idea of Slot being under this level of pressure would’ve been hard to imagine. He delivered the Premier League title in his debut season and was backed heavily in the transfer market with arrivals such as Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike and Jeremie Frimpong.

But those signings have struggled to settle, and Liverpool’s form has collapsed — nine losses in their last twelve matches — prompting serious questions about whether Slot is still the right man to lead the club.
