“Outstanding” Premier League boss identified as a potential successor to Arne Slot by Liverpool AFC Bournemouth • Liverpool FC

Liverpool are said to be monitoring potential managerial options in case they decide to dismiss Arne Slot, with Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola among those being linked.
The Spaniard has earned huge praise for the job he’s done with the Cherries, getting them to play exciting, progressive football and keeping them competitive despite regularly losing key players to bigger clubs.
Iraola has already attracted interest from major teams such as Manchester United, and it feels only a matter of time before he takes on a top job. Former Bournemouth star Jamie Redknapp even described him as “incredible” and backed him to manage any club in world football.
Earlier this season, reports suggested United were tracking Iraola, but new information now indicates that Liverpool have added him to their list of potential replacements for Slot.
Chelsea have also been linked with viewing Iraola as a long-term candidate, adding to the growing competition for his signature.
Iraola emerges as a possible Liverpool target
According to Fichajes, Liverpool’s board are considering a change in the dugout after a dire run of results that has seen the team lose nine of their last twelve matches.
The Reds are reportedly exploring a bold return for former manager Jürgen Klopp, while Ange Postecoglou has also been mentioned as an option. Still, Iraola appears to be the most realistic candidate for the job at this stage.
Klopp has repeatedly insisted he has no desire to return to management so soon after leaving Anfield, making his comeback unlikely.
Given his success, style of play, and availability, Iraola looks a stronger and more attainable pick than Postecoglou if Slot cannot halt the team’s decline.
Liverpool face West Ham at the London Stadium on Sunday, and anything less than a win could increase the pressure on Slot even further.
