Liverpool supporters accuse Arne Slot of a “sack-worthy decision” in the clash with West Ham.

Liverpool fans have slammed Arne Slot for what some are calling a “sackable offence” during the clash with West Ham United.

The Reds returned to Premier League action on Sunday after their damaging 4–1 Champions League loss to PSV, and they arrived at the London Stadium on the back of consecutive 3–0 league defeats to Manchester City and Nottingham Forest.

Slot made several changes to his lineup, with the biggest shock being Mohamed Salah’s omission from the starting XI. Speaking to Sky Sports, he defended the call by pointing out the team’s heavy schedule and the depth of his squad, insisting he simply opted for a different combination of players.

But his decision sparked frustration among supporters, particularly as Cody Gakpo — retained in the lineup — struggled again in the first half. Fans questioned why Salah had been dropped while Gakpo kept his place, with many taking to X to vent their anger.
