Darwin Núñez shared the word “Resiliencia” on X, alongside a photo of him celebrating for Uruguay with his fingers in his ears. The 26-year-old used this same gesture twice during his Liverpool spell, usually when he wanted to block out surrounding noise.

His latest post appeared just hours after the loss to PSV extended our run of defeats, making the timing impossible to overlook.

The former Benfica forward has consistently used that word to express defiance.
