“Oliver Glasner is set to leave Crystal Palace” – Insider makes major claim as Tottenham links intensify

Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan believes the club won’t be able to hold onto Oliver Glasner as speculation intensifies over Tottenham’s interest.

With Thomas Frank under increasing pressure after a run of poor results, Spurs are reportedly weighing up alternatives, and Glasner has emerged as a leading candidate to take over at N17. Jordan now insists it’s “clear” that the Austrian will depart Selhurst Park amid unresolved contract issues.

Glasner has transformed Palace, guiding them into European competition this season after last year’s impressive campaign. However, with his deal running down in the summer, Tottenham could attempt to move for him at a relatively low cost.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Jordan claimed Steve Parish will be responsible if Glasner walks away, saying:
“I think Glasner is going. He’s on a four-year deal and only has six or seven months left. It’s obvious he’s not staying, and nothing has been done to change that.”
He also hinted that selling Eberechi Eze in the summer may have contributed to Glasner questioning his long-term backing at the club.

For Spurs, Glasner would represent a positive step forward. The club plan to spend heavily in January, but uncertainty over Frank may force them to reconsider their approach. Should results continue to slide, Glasner could quickly become their preferred option.
