Liverpool supporters are calling for two players to be dropped from the squad after their 1-1 draw with Sunderland.

The result marked more frustration for Arne Slot’s side, who remain 8th in the Premier League after 14 matches. Sunderland went ahead when Chemsdine Talbi’s long-range strike took a deflection off Virgil van Dijk and wrong-footed Alisson.

Their lead didn’t last long, though, as Florian Wirtz’s effort—also deflected—forced an equaliser that was later recorded as a Nordi Mukiele own goal.

Despite salvaging a point, Liverpool fans’ disappointment with certain players continues to grow. Ibrahima Konaté faced heavy criticism again, especially after recent reports claiming Real Madrid have cooled their interest in signing him on a free transfer next summer.
