Liverpool supporters have singled out one player for blame after the team’s shocking collapse against Leeds.

Supporters were left furious after Liverpool threw away a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.

Coming off a frustrating 1-1 draw with Sunderland, Arne Slot’s side desperately needed a morale-boosting win – and for a while, it looked like they’d get it. Liverpool controlled the game, and summer signing Hugo Ekitike fired them into a 2-0 advantage early in the second half.

But the champions completely fell apart, conceding three times and leaving with only a point. And for many fans, there was one clear culprit.

While several players have underperformed this season, one has come under more fire than anyone else – Ibrahima Konate. Despite being linked with giants like Real Madrid and PSG in the summer, the defender has delivered a string of poor displays, and supporters believe this match was yet another example.
