Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has publicly blasted Arne Slot in a fiery post-match interview following Saturday’s chaotic 3–3 draw with Leeds United.
The Egyptian was left out of the starting XI for a third consecutive game, and he made it clear he is furious with the manager’s decision. Speaking after the match, Salah revealed that he now has “no relationship” with Slot and hinted that someone within the club is trying to push him out.

“I can’t believe it, I’m very disappointed,” he said.
“I’ve done so much for this club, everyone has seen that over the years, especially last season. To be on the bench… I don’t know why. I feel like the club is throwing me under the bus. That’s genuinely how I feel.
“I’ve said many times that I had a good relationship with the manager, and suddenly that’s gone. I don’t know what happened.
“It’s not acceptable to me. I don’t know why it always ends up being me. ‘Let’s throw Mo under the bus because he’s the problem.’ I don’t think I’m the problem.
“I called my mother yesterday — she didn’t know I wasn’t starting today, but I did. I told her just come for the Brighton game, even if I don’t play, I’ll enjoy it.
“We’ll see what happens. In my head, I’ll enjoy it anyway, because I don’t know what’s going to happen. It’s at Anfield, so it’ll be my goodbye before AFCON.
“The club made a lot of promises in the summer. But I’ve now been benched three games in a row. You can’t say they’ve kept their promises.”
