Mo Salah takes part in Liverpool training on Monday, while fresh concerns emerge over two missing players ahead of the Inter showdown.

All eyes were on Liverpool’s Monday morning training session to see whether Mo Salah would take part following his fiery outburst after the 3-3 draw with Leeds.

According to Ben Jacobs, Liverpool’s hierarchy is still considering whether the winger will travel with Arne Slot’s squad for Tuesday night’s Champions League clash against Inter Milan.

Despite reports claiming the 33-year-old would be left out after publicly admitting his relationship with Slot has broken down, the situation may not be beyond repair.

Liverpool’s official YouTube channel streamed the team’s preparations at the AXA Training Centre, and Salah was involved, even appearing in good spirits at times.

However, Liverpool World noted that two players—Wataru Endo and Federico Chiesa—were missing from the open session, raising concerns over their availability for the Inter match.

The travelling squad for the game in Italy will be confirmed later on Monday.

Temporary peace or long-term fix?

Although Endo and Chiesa aren’t regular starters, their absence would still be a setback for Slot. Chiesa, in particular, has made notable contributions off the bench, including a decisive goal against Bournemouth and a crucial defensive block against Sunderland.

Salah’s participation in training suggests he might still make the trip to Milan despite calls from figures like Wayne Rooney to drop him. Any rift with Slot appears to be on hold for now.

Within hours, it will become clear if he boards the plane to Italy. Should he travel, Tuesday’s team sheet will be closely watched to see if he features from the start or comes off the bench.

Whether this training involvement is only a short-term ceasefire or a step toward resolving the issues between Salah and Slot remains to be seen in the days ahead.
