Guglielmo Vicario – Made a couple of routine stops in the first half to preserve Spurs’ clean sheet. Slavia could have threatened him more after the break given the chances they created. Finished with four saves, all fairly straightforward. 6
Pedro Porro – Quiet before the interval but earned Tottenham a crucial penalty early in the second half. Most of Spurs’ attacking threat came from the left or long balls down the right, so Porro wasn’t heavily involved. Subbed off after a knock to his toe but appeared fine. 6
Cristian Romero – Set up the opening goal with a flicked header at the near post. Once again showcased why he’s among the best ball-playing centre-backs, picking out Kudus with a superb long pass and making several incisive forward runs. 8
Micky van de Ven – Booked for an inadvertent hand to the face and will now miss the Dortmund match. Enjoyed a good physical contest with Slavia’s striker and came out on top across the 90 minutes. 6.5
Djed Spence – Demonstrated a good connection with Odobert, who offered width and runs in behind. Solid defensively and inventive going forward. Spurs will need more of that with Udogie sidelined until January. 7
Joao Palhinha – Cautioned despite winning the ball cleanly. Served as a strong anchor in midfield, allowing Tottenham’s creative players to push higher. 6.5
Archie Gray – Another solid 60 minutes. Has gone from rotation option to starter under Thomas Frank after two composed displays. Fits well alongside Palhinha, giving him licence to be more dynamic. 6.5
Xavi Simons – A goal has clearly lifted his confidence. Looked sharp, especially when driving at the Slavia defence. Scored again by winning and dispatching a 79th-minute penalty. 7.5
Mohammed Kudus – Energetic first half full of runs in behind, heavy touches and dangerous crosses. Got his goal from the spot after the break. Held onto the ball too long at times, which limited an otherwise strong showing. 8
Richarlison – Missed a huge chance inside the first minute. Showed decent hold-up play afterward and should have had an assist for his ball to Kudus. Squandered another opportunity on 57 minutes. 6.5
Wilson Odobert – Created a golden chance for Richarlison moments into the match with excellent wing play. Nearly scored himself early in the second half but was denied. Merits more starts at left wing. 7
