Mo Salah might have already made his final appearance for Liverpool, according to a revealing comment from a leading Saudi official.
Mo Salah’s relationship with Liverpool appears to have collapsed following his fiery post-match interview on Saturday after the draw with Leeds United.
After being benched for three straight fixtures, Salah publicly lashed out, claiming the club had “thrown him under the bus.”
He suggested that someone within Liverpool no longer wants him at the club and even implied that the upcoming match against Brighton might serve as his final appearance, amid intensifying rumours of a January departure.
In the aftermath of his remarks, Liverpool omitted Salah from the squad travelling to Italy for their Champions League clash with Inter Milan.
That decision has only fuelled speculation that the bond between Salah and the club has completely fractured.

Saudi Pro League clubs ready to make their move
The turmoil has alerted several Saudi Pro League teams, who have been tracking Salah for years as a potential marquee signing.
They view him as the ideal long-term superstar to succeed Cristiano Ronaldo as the league’s global face.
Reports suggest three Saudi clubs—Al-Hilal, NEOM FC, and Al-Qadsiah—are currently interested in acquiring him.
Back in 2023, Al-Ittihad attempted a record-breaking move worth £150 million, but Liverpool rejected the bid at the time.
Now, however, Liverpool themselves may be open to cashing in, even though Salah only signed a two-year extension in April 2025.
Some believe Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes agreed to the new deal primarily to ensure Liverpool could sell Salah for a substantial fee later.
That possibility now looks increasingly realistic. Saudi Pro League CEO Omar Mugharbel has openly welcomed the idea of Salah joining the league, confirming he is one of their main targets.
