Tottenham Player Ratings vs Nottingham Forest (3–0)

Thomas Frank’s Tottenham once again struggled for creativity in attack, while costly defensive errors handed Nottingham Forest a comfortable 3–0 win.

Guglielmo Vicario – 2
The Spurs goalkeeper endured a disastrous first half. One mistake was swiftly followed by another as he completely misjudged a Callum Hudson-Odoi cross, losing his positioning and leaving Tottenham exposed. A damaging performance.

Pedro Porro – 3
The Spaniard was caught out of position as Hudson-Odoi beat Rodrigo Bentancur and delivered a cross that went straight into the net. Porro’s absence on that flank allowed the danger to develop unchecked.

Cristian Romero – 4
His aggressive approach offered little protection, with Forest capitalising on Tottenham’s own mistakes. Spurs were largely responsible for their downfall in both halves.

Micky van de Ven – 4
Produced an important intervention when Morgan Gibbs-White capitalised on a loose pass from Xavi Simons. He also attempted to drive the team forward from deep, though he was powerless to stop the goals.

Djed Spence – 4
Defended solidly against Omari Hutchinson in the first half and showed willingness to push forward. However, operating as a right-footer on the left limited Spurs’ attacking balance. Replaced by Ben Davies.

Rodrigo Bentancur – 4
Showed energy and commitment off the ball in the first half, but it failed to shield the defence effectively. Given time after the break before making way for Lucas Bergvall.

Archie Gray – 4
A difficult outing for the young midfielder. A costly first-half error was forced by Sangare’s high press as Spurs tried to play out from the back. He had a chance to equalise before half-time, but it was saved. Substituted shortly after the hour.

Xavi Simons – 3
After encouraging recent performances, this was a disappointing display. He was careless in possession, repeatedly giving the ball away and preventing Tottenham from building sustained pressure.

Mohammed Kudus – 3
Attacks regularly broke down due to overplaying, allowing Forest to recover defensively. His crossing lacked quality, his dribbling had little impact, and it marked his poorest performance since joining Spurs.

Richarlison – 3
Failed to register a shot on target and struggled to link play or dominate aerially. Tottenham’s blunt attack was reflected in his display.

Randal Kolo Muani – 3
Ineffective overall, despite a few moments running at the Forest defence. He frequently held on to the ball too long, allowing the hosts to regroup comfortably.

Substitutes

Lucas Bergvall – 5
Introduced to add creativity after Bentancur’s withdrawal. Saw plenty of the ball but was unable to influence proceedings.

João Palhinha – 5
Replaced Archie Gray and slotted into the holding role. Was on the pitch when Forest added a third goal from distance.

Ben Davies – 5
Came on as Spurs searched for a response. Offered limited impact going forward.

Brennan Johnson – N/A
Introduced late against his former club, with the result already decided.

Mathys Tel – N/A
Entered in the final stages after Forest’s third goal, replacing Kolo Muani.
