The Reds head to Tottenham with momentum gathering, yet even veteran pundits found it hard to commit to a decisive prediction.
Speaking on The Overlap, Gary Neville captured that uncertainty early in the predictions discussion.
“I genuinely don’t know with this one,” the former defender admitted.
“I think it could be 1-1,” he added, before asking: “Have Liverpool got enough to go there and win?”

That confidence aligned with Jamie Carragher’s view, as the former Red pointed to Spurs’ difficulties on home turf.
“Liverpool win 2-1,” Carragher said, adding: “Tottenham’s home form is terrible.”
After some debate, Neville eventually changed his stance, concluding: “Alright, we’ll say Liverpool to win 2-1.”
The split echoed recent weeks, including when Wright was the lone pundit to tip Forest to beat us at Anfield — a call that proved uncomfortably accurate.
It also stood in contrast to Roy Keane previously backing Liverpool to defeat Leeds, a match that finished level despite expectations.

The uncertainty is less about ability and more about reliability.
Arne Slot’s side are unbeaten in four Premier League matches and come into the game off a composed 2-0 win over Brighton, with Hugo Ekitike again leading the line impressively.
Liverpool are building control rather than outright dominance, which perhaps explains why predictions feel so unpredictable.
Whether Carragher’s belief is rewarded or Wright’s taste for chaos prevails, the Reds go into this clash knowing a statement victory would quickly silence any lingering doubts.
