Liverpool assign price to “brilliant” star, have backup plan ready

Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has been linked with a potential move to Real Madrid. Transfer expert Indy Kaila reports that the Spanish club is interested in the 26-year-old, and Liverpool could consider selling him if the price is right.
While a transfer in January is possible, a summer move appears more likely, as Liverpool would prefer not to lose a key player mid-season, especially given their slow start. Mac Allister has previously been described as “absolutely magnificent.”
Liverpool have already set a valuation for the 2022 World Cup winner and are willing to sell if the fee meets their expectations. Plans to replace him are in place, with the club aiming to sign a top-tier defensive midfielder.
The Reds have talented central midfielders like Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai, but they currently lack a specialist defensive midfielder to shield the defense and disrupt opposition attacks. Gravenberch has occasionally filled this role, but the Dutch international excels in a more advanced position. Securing a dedicated defensive midfielder would allow him to play to his strengths.
Mac Allister, having succeeded at both Brighton and Liverpool and already won the Premier League, may see this as an ideal moment to embrace a new challenge. A move to Real Madrid, widely regarded as one of the world’s biggest clubs, would be difficult to resist. How this situation unfolds remains to be seen.
